We’re home, we’re tired, and we are absolutely beaming. Nostalgia Con SLC 2026 has officially wrapped — and we are still pinching ourselves over how incredible it was.
To every single person who stopped by the Trinkets by Camber booth: thank you. From the bottom of our tiled little hearts.
What a Weekend
Nostalgia Con SLC brought together some of the most enthusiastic, warm, and genuinely fun people we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting at a convention. The Salt Palace Convention Center was buzzing all weekend long, and our booth was right in the middle of all of it.
We got to watch people’s faces light up when they spotted the sets. We played rounds of tiles with complete strangers who became instant friends. We heard stories about childhood fandoms, game nights, and gift ideas for people’s best friends. It was — honestly — everything we hoped it would be and more.
We even met another Kamber!
This is why we do what we do.
The Sets That Stole the Show
We brought three sets specifically chosen for the nostalgia crowd, and they did not disappoint:
The Turtle Set — Our TMNT-themed set had people stopping mid-stride. There is something about seeing Michelangelo on a mahjong tile that just works. Cowabunga indeed.
Rainbow vs. Strawberry Set — Strawberry Shortcake fans, you showed UP. This set sparked some of the most delightful conversations of the weekend. The pastel vs. rainbow rivalry is very much alive.
The Detective Set — Jinkies! The Scooby-Doo set was a crowd favorite for reactions alone. More than a few people picked it up just to show someone else across the aisle.
If you missed any of these at the con, they’re all still available in our shop!
