Day 1 was a BLAST. Here’s what you missed — and why you need to come see us Friday & Saturday.
Okay, we have to be honest with you: Day 1 of SLC FanX completely exceeded our expectations.
We got to see some of our absolute favorite repeat customers walk up to our table with the biggest smiles. We watched epic 4-player battles break out between family members — the kind of chaotic, laughing, trash-talking energy that reminds us exactly why we make these games. We met so many incredible new faces. And we got to share something we’ve been SO excited about.
All in all? Best Day 1 we’ve had. And we still have two more days to go.
Where to Find Us
We’re set up in the Kids Con area, Room 155 for the rest of the convention — that’s Friday and Saturday. If you’re heading to FanX, come swing by! We’d love to meet you, show you the sets in person, and maybe talk you into a round or two.
Two Brand-New Sets — FanX Con Exclusives!
Here’s the big news: we’re debuting two brand-new Versa-Tile sets at FanX this year. These are convention specials, which means they’re getting their first-ever public showing right here — and they’ll be available on our website after the convention wraps.
Capybara vs. Axolotl Set
The internet’s two most beloved, most unhinged, most universally adored animals — finally facing off in tile form.
Player 1 takes the Capybara side: chill, snacking, doing absolutely nothing wrong, iconic. Player 2 goes Axolotl: pink, smiley, perpetually unbothered, also iconic. Both sets are illustrated in the most ridiculously cute kawaii style and we are not okay about it (in the best way).
Whether you’re a capybara person or an axolotl person, this set is going to start a lot of very important debates at your game table.
BTS vs. BT21 Set
For the ARMY in the room — and let’s be real, there are a LOT of you, and we love every single one of you.
This set puts the BTS members themselves on one side and their BT21 alter-egos on the other. Pick your team. Play your round. Argue about it afterward. It’s the KPop mahjong experience you didn’t know you needed, rendered in a Versa-Tile format so you can play Memory Match, Go Fish, Mahjong, Dominos, and more.
We debuted this at the table today and the reactions were everything.
Can’t Make It to FanX?
No worries at all — both of these sets will be hitting the website after the convention. You can browse our current Versa-Tile gallery right now to see what we’ve been up to, and keep an eye out for the launch announcement!
Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by today — you made our day, our weekend, and honestly our whole convention season. We can’t wait to see more of you Friday and Saturday.
